The Jury Experience: Frankenstein on Trial
A forbidden experiment, a trail of deaths, and you on the jury at St George's Hall.
About The Jury Experience: Frankenstein on Trial
The Jury Experience: Frankenstein on Trial is a live courtroom drama in Liverpool in which the audience is the jury. His creature has already been convicted of murder; now Dr Victor Frankenstein is in the dock, and the court must decide whether the man who built it is responsible for the deaths that followed. You hear the testimony, weigh the evidence, vote at key moments that steer the case, and deliver the final verdict: guilty or not guilty. Because the votes change the trial, no two shows end the same way.
The next performances are on Saturday 19 December 2026 at 16:00 and 18:30, at St George's Hall, the neoclassical landmark directly opposite Liverpool Lime Street station. The show lasts about an hour. Doors open 30 minutes before, and they close at show time with no late entry. It is suitable for ages 12 and up, with under-16s accompanied by an adult, and the hall has a wheelchair zone.
A hotel in Liverpool city centre, near Lime Street, makes the strict start time easy and leaves the evening free. The Saturday before Christmas is busy in town, so book early. The Ropewalks and Bold Street area is ten minutes' walk for dinner and bars, and the Albert Dock and waterfront are about fifteen.
