Events in New York City: what to know
The Garden sits on Seventh Avenue at 33rd Street, directly above Penn Station. The 1, 2 and 3 trains stop at 34th Street-Penn Station, and the A, C and E stop one block west. Midtown South and Koreatown are a walk; Chelsea and the Flatiron are about 15 minutes on foot.
Both dates are national television games, so Midtown rooms move early. Arriving by train beats driving: Penn Station is under the building, and Seventh Avenue is closed to through traffic around tip-off.
