Co-op Live sits on the Etihad Campus in east Manchester, next to the Etihad Stadium, about two miles from the city centre. The Etihad Campus Metrolink stop is a short walk from the doors. A hotel in the Northern Quarter or Spinningfields is about 15 minutes on the tram.
Sunday night at the campus fills the tram and the roads around Sportcity. A city-centre base still works if you ride the Metrolink out and back; staying on campus only makes sense if the game is the whole reason for the trip.
