Ibiza Airport (IBZ) handles direct flights from most major European cities, making the island one of the most accessible Mediterranean destinations.

Beyond the coast, the interior holds whitewashed villages like Santa Gertrudis, hippy markets at Las Dalias, and hiking trails through Es Amunts. The local language is Catalan in its Eivissenc dialect, though Spanish is universal and English is widely spoken in tourist areas. Ibiza pairs naturally with a 1-2 day extension to Formentera, reachable in 30 minutes by ferry from Ibiza Town.
