Events in Paris: what to know
The three venues sit on different lines. Grand Palais is in the 8th, a few minutes from Champs-Élysées Clemenceau and Concorde. Accor Arena is in Bercy in the 12th, on métro lines 6 and 14. Paris Expo Porte de Versailles is the southern end of Line 12, so a room in the 15th is walking distance from the halls.
October is the busiest of the three. Art Basel runs alongside the rest of Paris art week, which spreads demand across the whole city rather than one district, so rates move earlier than the fair dates alone suggest. The January NBA date is quieter city-wide but still fills Bercy.
