Hotels near Christmas Market at the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church

The Christmas market on Breitscheidplatz surrounds the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, whose ruined bell tower, damaged in the Second World War, has been preserved as a memorial. It is the main Berlin Christmas market in the west of the city, at the start of the Kurfürstendamm shopping boulevard. Published listings give 2026 dates of 23 November to 3 January 2027.

The market has more than 100 stalls selling gifts, crafts and international food, and its location makes it easy to combine with Christmas shopping on the Ku'damm and at the KaDeWe department store nearby.

A memorial on the square commemorates the victims of the 2016 attack, and security measures are in place around the market.
