The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park is one of the best-known NYC Christmas markets, with more than 170 kiosks selling gifts, crafts and food from local and international vendors. At its heart is a 17,000-square-foot ice rink that is free to use if you bring your own skates, with skate rental available.
The Bryant Park Christmas market, officially the Holiday Shops by Urbanspace, runs from 28 October 2026 to 3 January 2027. The shops open Monday to Friday from 11am to 8pm and at weekends from 10am to 8pm, and the rink stays open until early March. A Bryant Park Winter Village map and vendor list are published on the Winter Village website before opening.
The park sits behind the New York Public Library, whose grand Beaux-Arts building is worth a look on the way.
Pro Tip: Skate in the morning on a weekday, when the rink is quietest, and book a skate rental slot online in advance. Visit the Holiday Shops after dark for the best atmosphere.
