About Halloween Bash in Times Square @ Pod 42
The Halloween Bash in Times Square takes over Bar 42, the rooftop at Pod Times Square, from 8pm to 1am on Saturday 31 October 2026. Music fills the dance floor while Midtown glows below, and at 11pm the best costume of the night wins a prize before the dancing carries on until close.
Pod Times Square is at 400 West 42nd Street, at Ninth Avenue, a block from the 42nd Street-Port Authority subway station on the A, C and E lines. Costumes are encouraged, and part of the rooftop is open to the air, so bring a warm layer for the October night.
Staying near Times Square or in Hell's Kitchen puts you a few blocks from the rooftop after the 1am close. Hell's Kitchen is often cheaper than the hotels on the square itself and has plenty of late-night food.
