Mind of a Serial Killer: The Experience (New York)
Recreated crime scenes, criminal profiling and a VR investigation, in its final weeks on Sixth Avenue.
About Mind of a Serial Killer: The Experience (New York)
Mind of a Serial Killer: The Experience is an indoor exhibition in Manhattan exploring the psychology, backgrounds and motives of 17 of history's most notorious serial killers. You walk through detailed recreations, from Ted Bundy's Beetle to Jeffrey Dahmer's kitchen, Ed Gein's home and H.H. Holmes's corridors, then step into a recreated investigation office to study victimology reports and profiling techniques. A VR experience lets you work a crime scene yourself. Most visitors spend 90 to 120 minutes inside.
The exhibition is in its final days, running through 1 November 2026, with timed entry from 10am to 8pm. It is at 526 Sixth Avenue, on the south-east corner of West 14th Street, by the 14th Street station (F, M and L lines). There is no parking. Entry is 14+, with under-17s accompanied by an adult, and every guest signs a digital waiver. Fever reviewers rate it 4.6 out of 5 across more than 4,000 reviews.
