Events in Dubai: what to know
Festival City sits on the Dubai Creek, east of Downtown and around 15 minutes by road from the airport. It is not on the Metro, so the practical options are a hotel inside Festival City itself, or a base along the Red Line in Downtown or Business Bay with a short car trip at each end.
