Can I request early check-in?
Yes. Add your arrival time as a special request on your trip1 booking, then confirm with the hotel. Early check-in depends on a cleaned room being free.

How to ask for early check-in
During checkout, write your flight arrival time and the time you expect to reach the property. A specific time such as 9am gives the hotel something concrete to plan around.
If you have already booked, open the Manage booking link in your trip1 confirmation email and send the request from there. Calling the property a day or two before arrival is worth doing as well.
What it costs
Arriving an hour or two early usually costs nothing. Checking in at 8am when check-in opens at 3pm effectively uses the room for an extra night, so most hotels charge a part-day or full-night rate for it.
If your flight lands at dawn and you need a bed immediately, booking the previous night on trip1 is often cheaper than an early check-in fee and removes all the uncertainty.
If the room is not ready
Complete the check-in paperwork anyway, leave your luggage at reception, and ask the desk to message you when the room is free. You can usually use the lobby, pool, or gym in the meantime.
