Can I save multiple crypto wallets to my trip1 account?

In short

  • trip1 doesn't store crypto wallets in your account - every payment is a fresh CoinGate invoice you pay from any wallet you choose.
  • You can use a different wallet or exchange for each booking without setting anything up in your account.
  • For refunds, trip1 sends funds to the wallet address you provide at request time, so there's no need to save wallet addresses in advance.

How trip1 handles crypto payments

trip1 uses CoinGate, a MiCA-licensed crypto payment provider, to accept payments. Each booking generates a fresh invoice with a one-time wallet address and a QR code. You scan and pay from your own wallet - no linking, no saved addresses, no custody.

The design keeps your funds under your control. trip1 never holds your crypto and never sees your wallet's private keys or seed phrase.

Using different wallets for different bookings

There's nothing to configure. Pay booking A from your MetaMask, booking B from Cash App Lightning, and booking C from your exchange withdrawal - trip1 just needs the payment to hit the invoice address.

Refunds without saved wallets

When you request a refund, trip1 asks for the wallet address and network you want the crypto sent to. Double-check both before submitting - crypto transfers on the wrong network can't be recovered.

Important: Always verify the wallet address and blockchain network before submitting refund details. Sending to the wrong network cannot be reversed and trip1 cannot recover those funds.
