Rosina Ostler holds two Michelin stars in the 2026 guide and is Munich's only female chef at that level, which is a fact rather than a marketing line. The room seats 28 above the Dallmayr food hall, a few minutes from Marienplatz. The house sells a Dallmayr Fine Dining Card at 500 euros per person covering a champagne aperitif, the menu, wine or non-alcoholic pairings, water and coffee, so there is little to argue about at the end.
Hours are Wednesday to Saturday from 19:00, with lunch from 12:30 on Friday and Saturday only, closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. It also takes a long summer break, closed 2 August to 1 September 2026, with a handful of one-off openings scattered through the year. Reserve weeks ahead: 28 covers across four days a week is not much supply.
The all-inclusive format is the thing to weigh. It removes the anxiety of a wine list but it also removes the option of eating well for less, and at 500 euros it is the most expensive single meal in this guide by 140 euros. Being closed four days out of seven makes it hard to slot into a short trip, and the Friday and Saturday lunch is the only daytime service.
Pro Tip: Take the Friday or Saturday lunch rather than dinner. Daylight through the windows over Dienerstrasse suits the room, the pace is slower, and you still have the evening free. Walk through the Dallmayr hall downstairs on the way out, which is free and worth 20 minutes.
