Harder Kulm is the easy win of the ten - a 10-minute funicular ride from Interlaken Ost drops you at 1,322 metres with a straight-on view of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau lined up like a postcard. The Two Lakes Bridge lookout juts out over the valley so you get Thun on your left, Brienz on your right, and the town squeezed between them. Return tickets run about CHF 38 in 2026, or roughly CHF 19 with a Half Fare Card. There's a Swiss-style restaurant at the top (the Harder Kulm Panorama Restaurant) that opens seasonally from late April to late November. If you have the legs, a marked hiking trail runs down to Unterseen in about two hours through the forest.

Pro Tip: Come 45 minutes before sunset. The Alps light up pink for about 15 minutes (the Alpenglow), and the last funicular back down runs at 21:40 in July, giving you time to eat first.
