The Jungfraujoch sits at 3,454 metres on the saddle between the Mönch and the Jungfrau, and it's home to the highest railway station in Europe. The trip from Interlaken Ost runs via the Berner Oberland-Bahn to Grindelwald Terminal, then the Eiger Express gondola to Eigergletscher, and finally the historic Jungfrau Railway through a tunnel cut into the north face of the Eiger in 1912.
