Hotels near Levico Terme Habsburg Christmas Market

The spa town of Levico Terme, in the Valsugana valley east of Trento, hosts a Christmas market in the grounds of its Habsburg-era park, among tall trees and historic buildings. Wooden chalets sell crafts, decorations and local food, and the setting has an old-fashioned charm.

In 2025, the Levico Terme Christmas market ran from 22 November to 6 January, according to listings. The 2026 dates had not been announced at the time of writing.

The town is easily reached by train from Trento, making it a pleasant half-day excursion, and the lakeside setting is beautiful on a crisp winter day.

Pro Tip: Take the train to Levico Terme in the afternoon, explore the market in the park as the lights come on, and return to Trento for dinner.
