Bahnhofstrasse 30, 3860 Meiringen, Switzerland
Meiringen-Hasliberg is not on the Jungfrau ski pass. It is a separate operator selling through the Magic Pass, and it charges its own adult day rate of CHF 65 against the Jungfrau CHF 79, with a half day at CHF 54. That single fact is the most practically useful thing in this entry: a Skipass Jungfrau in your pocket buys you nothing at these lifts, and a day here has to be budgeted on its own.
What the lower price buys is 60 km of piste split 20 km easy, 34 km intermediate and 6 km difficult, served by 13 lifts between 1,065 m and 2,433 m. The 1,368 m vertical is the biggest continuous drop of the five areas covered here. Getting there takes about 35 minutes from Interlaken Ost on the Zentralbahn Brünig line to either Meiringen or Brünig-Hasliberg. Season dates run shorter than the rest of the region: skiresort.com lists 19 December 2026 to 29 March 2027, while the operator publishes mid-December to early April, so the shoulder weeks are worth checking before you commit. It earns the fifth slot because it is genuinely separate terrain in a separate valley, not another slice of the Grindelwald-Wengen lift network.
Pro Tip: Take a late-morning Brünig-line train from Interlaken Ost and buy the CHF 54 half day rather than the full CHF 65. The 35-minute ride makes a midday start realistic, and the ticket costs CHF 25 less than a Skipass Jungfrau day for a mountain with a bigger vertical drop.
