The 91st Paris Motor Show runs from 13 to 18 October 2026 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, with 12 October reserved for press. Known in French as the Mondial de l'Auto, it dates back to 1898 and is one of the few genuinely large October events in the city. It fills accommodation across the 15th arrondissement for the week, which matters even if you have no interest in cars.

Tickets are dated and cheaper bought online in advance. The halls at Porte de Versailles are vast, so plan on four hours minimum and wear the shoes you would wear for a museum rather than a car park. If you are visiting Paris in October for the autumn colour instead, the first or last week of the month is noticeably calmer and cheaper than the show week.

Pro Tip: Go on the Wednesday or Thursday rather than the weekend, and arrive at opening. Metro line 12 to Porte de Versailles queues badly on Saturday, and tram T3a from the south is the faster way in on the busiest days.
