Wengen sits at 1,274 m on a terrace above the Lauterbrunnen valley with no road in. Pro Tip: Ski the Lauberhorn line in the first hour after the Wengernalpbahn starts running, before the Grindelwald side arrives at Kleine Scheidegg and feeds traffic onto it.
