About ETHTaipei 2026
ETHTaipei is Taiwan's flagship Ethereum conference, running 13-14 September 2026. It is community-run and developer-heavy: protocol research, zero-knowledge tooling, account abstraction and smart contract security, with talks split between English and Mandarin.
The conference anchors a longer week of hacker houses, workshops and meetups run by local and visiting teams. Taipei's density of hardware and semiconductor talent gives the event a different flavour to the European and US stops on the Ethereum circuit.
Taipei is easy to get around on the MRT and cheap by regional standards. Da'an and Xinyi are central and well connected; Zhongshan and Ximending are livelier in the evenings. September is still hot and humid, with typhoon season not quite over.
