Events in Las Vegas: what to know
The circuit closes sections of Las Vegas Boulevard for three nights. Crossing the track on foot is restricted during sessions and rideshare pickup points move, so which side of the Strip you are on decides how the night ends.
Rooms with a view of the track are priced as a grandstand and sell first. A room a block back is cheaper, still walkable, and unaffected by the crossing restrictions. Sessions finish late, so the shorter the walk, the better.
