trip1 is a hotel booking platform where you can search and book from over 3 million hotels in 190+ countries - and pay with cryptocurrency. Because trip1 works with thousands of properties, cancellation terms vary by hotel and even by rate within the same hotel.
How trip1 cancellation policies work
trip1 displays the exact cancellation policy of every rate before you pay. There are two common types:
- Free cancellation: you can cancel without penalty up to a deadline set by the hotel - usually 24, 48, or 72 hours before check-in.
- Non-refundable: you forfeit the full booking amount if you cancel, but the rate is often 10-30% cheaper.
Some rates offer partial refunds within a window, then become non-refundable closer to check-in. The exact rules and deadlines for your booking are on the trip1 confirmation email.
