Does trip1 charge a fee for Binance Pay?
No - trip1 doesn't add a fee when you choose Binance Pay in the CoinGate checkout. You pay the booking price shown on trip1, converted into your chosen coin at the rate locked when the CoinGate window opens.
That locked rate holds for as long as the countdown timer runs, so the amount you see is the amount you pay.
Why there's no network fee
Most crypto payments travel over a blockchain, and every on-chain transaction carries a network (gas) fee. Binance Pay skips the blockchain entirely.
When you pay with Binance Pay, the funds move from your Binance account to the merchant's Binance account internally. Nothing goes on-chain, so:
- You don't pay gas or miner fees
- You don't choose a blockchain network
- You don't copy a wallet address
Binance Pay vs a Binance withdrawal - fee comparison
If you paid by withdrawing crypto from Binance to the CoinGate address instead, the costs look different.
| Binance Pay | Binance withdrawal | |
|---|---|---|
| trip1 fee | None | None |
| Network or gas fee | None | Yes - Binance charges a withdrawal fee |
| Network choice | Not needed | You must pick the correct network |
| Exact amount | Set automatically | You must add fees so the full amount arrives |
With a withdrawal, Binance deducts its withdrawal fee from what you send. If you don't add it on top, your payment arrives short and you'll need to top up. Binance Pay avoids this because the app sets the exact amount.
Check the amount before you confirm
Any charge on Binance's side would appear in the Binance app before you approve the payment. Review the total on the confirmation screen, then confirm with your Pay PIN or 2FA.
Your coin's value can change between booking and any later refund, but that's a conversion-rate effect, not a fee. You can read more in our refund guide for Binance Pay bookings.
