Yes - to use Binance Pay on trip1 you need a verified Binance account in a country where Binance Pay is available. Without one, you can pay from any other wallet.

What you need to use Binance Pay

Yes - Binance Pay works only from a Binance account, because the payment is a transfer from your Binance balance. trip1 offers Binance Pay as one of the options inside the CoinGate checkout (CoinGate is trip1's crypto payment provider), so you'll see it after you choose Pay with crypto.

To use it, you need:

  • A Binance account - registered in the Binance app
  • Identity verification - Binance requires completed verification before you can use Binance Pay
  • A supported country - Binance Pay isn't available in every region, and US residents on Binance.US can't use it
  • A Binance Pay PIN - you set it up in the app and use it (or 2FA) to confirm payments
  • Enough balance - in a coin that Binance Pay supports, such as BTC, ETH, BNB or USDC

Your Binance Pay PIN locks after five wrong attempts, so keep it somewhere safe. You don't need a trip1 wallet or a CoinGate account.

No Binance account? You can still pay with crypto

You don't need Binance to book on trip1. You can pay in 50+ cryptocurrencies from any wallet or exchange, either by scanning the QR code and sending the exact amount, or by connecting a wallet such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet with WalletConnect.
