What is trip1's dispute resolution process?
In short
- Contact trip1 support with your booking reference and evidence - we open a case and mediate with the hotel or supplier on your behalf.
- Most disputes resolve within 7-14 days; complex cases can take up to 30 days.
- Possible outcomes include a full or partial refund via CoinGate, rebooking at a comparable property, or credit toward a future booking.
How the process works
Step 1 - Open the case
Reach out to trip1 support with your booking reference, a short description of what happened, and any evidence you have (receipts, photos, timestamps, written communications).
Step 2 - Investigation
trip1 reviews the booking record, contacts the hotel or supply partner, and requests their side of the story. This typically takes a few days.
Step 3 - Resolution
Once trip1 has both sides, the team proposes a resolution: refund, rebooking, or credit. You confirm what works for you, and refunds process via CoinGate to a wallet address you provide.
If you're not satisfied
Ask trip1 support to escalate your case to a senior case manager. EU consumers can also refer unresolved disputes to their national consumer authority or the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
