The Country Club Plaza - often called simply 'The Plaza' - is Kansas City's most elegant district. Joe's Kansas City (3002 W 47th Ave) is 10 minutes from the Plaza by rideshare and widely regarded as one of the best barbecue restaurants in the country. Their burnt ends - $18 for a half pound at time of writing - are the item to order.
