Hotels near Wintergloed Ice Rink

The Wintergloed ice rink is no longer on the Markt but sits in the Koning Albert I park near the Minnewater, the romantic Lake of Love, at the southern edge of the old town. For the 2026 season, the rink is listed as open daily from 10am to 10pm from 20 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, depending on the weather.

Skates can be hired on site, and a winter bar serves warm drinks for those who prefer to watch. The Minnewater and the nearby Beguinage, with its whitewashed houses, are especially peaceful in winter.

The rink is close to Bruges station, so it is easy to visit on arrival or before leaving.

Pro Tip: Skate in the morning on a weekday for the quietest ice, then walk through the Beguinage and along the Minnewater towards the centre.
