About BTC Prague 2027
BTC Prague is Europe's largest Bitcoin-only conference and the 2027 edition runs 6-8 May, moved forward from its usual June slot. It also switches to a new venue in central Prague rather than the exhibition grounds it has used previously.
The programme is Bitcoin-only by design: self-custody and privacy, mining, Lightning payments, and the Czech Republic's unusually developed circular Bitcoin economy. Alongside the talks sit a large expo, a hardware and workshop area, and an evening schedule that spills into bars across the city.
A central venue makes the conference easier to combine with the city than previous editions. Prague's metro and tram network covers everything, and staying in Nové Město, Žižkov or Karlín keeps you close without paying Old Town Square prices. Early May is one of the better months to be there, though it is also peak tourist season.
