About SEA Blockchain Week 2027
SEA Blockchain Week is Southeast Asia's regional Web3 week, based in Bangkok. The 2026 edition ran 18-24 May; the 2027 dates have not been announced, and recent years have fallen in May.
Rather than one large conference, it runs as a distributed week: a core summit plus dozens of independently organised side events, hackathons and meetups across Bangkok. That format makes it cheaper to attend than the big single-venue conferences, but it takes more planning to work out which sessions are worth your time.
With events scattered across the city, staying near a BTS or MRT line matters more than picking a specific district. Asok, Phrom Phong and Silom are practical bases. May is hot and the start of the rainy season, with short heavy downpours most afternoons.
