About Skift Asia Forum 2027
Skift Asia Forum is the Asian edition of Skift's travel industry event series, held in Bangkok. The 2026 edition ran 28-29 April; the 2027 dates have not been announced, and recent years have landed in April or May.
Skift events run as journalist-led onstage interviews rather than sponsored keynotes, with hotel and airline executives, OTAs and investors questioned on strategy. The Asia forum focuses on regional demand, Chinese and Indian outbound travel, hotel development pipelines and AI in distribution. It is deliberately compact, at a few hundred attendees rather than thousands.
Recent editions have used central Bangkok hotel venues. Staying in the Sukhumvit corridor, Silom or along the river keeps you close to most options and on the BTS or MRT. April is the hottest month in Bangkok, and Songkran falls in mid-April, which affects both prices and traffic.
