trip1 is a hotel booking platform with over 3 million hotels in 190+ countries, payable in Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC, and 120+ other cryptocurrencies. trip1 also runs a public MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, so AI agents like Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor can search and book hotels for you.
What an agent can and can't do
The trip1 MCP server has four tools: search_hotels, get_hotel_details, purchase_hotel, and get_order_details. An agent can search, compare rates, book, and check an order's status.
Cancelling and changing bookings stay with you and trip1 support. This protects you from an agent cancelling a stay by mistake.
How to cancel a booking your agent made
- Find the booking reference in your confirmation email, or ask your agent to look it up with get_order_details
- Check the cancellation terms for your rate
- Contact trip1 support with the booking reference and tell us what you'd like to change
Check terms before you book
Ask your agent to show the cancellation policy for each rate before it books. Free-cancellation rates usually cost a little more, but they give you room to change plans.
