Can I pay from crypto held on an exchange like Binance?
In short
- Yes. You can pay on trip1 directly from crypto held on an exchange like Binance or Kraken by withdrawing it to the trip1 checkout address.
- Copy the payment address from the trip1 checkout window, paste it into your exchange's withdraw screen, pick the matching network, and send the exact amount.
- Send early - exchanges can add a short security review before releasing a withdrawal, which may eat into the checkout window.
Can you pay from an exchange account?
Yes. An exchange account is a custodial wallet, and most exchanges let you withdraw crypto to any external address. That means you can send payment straight from Binance, Kraken, or a similar platform to trip1. trip1 is a hotel booking platform where you pay with Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC, and 50+ other cryptocurrencies through CoinGate, a MiCA-licensed payment provider.
How to pay from an exchange - step by step
Step 1 - Start checkout on trip1
Book your hotel, choose Pay with crypto, and select the cryptocurrency you hold on your exchange. The CoinGate window shows a payment address, the exact amount, and the network.
Step 2 - Open the withdraw screen on your exchange
Log in to your exchange, go to the withdraw or send page for the same coin, and paste the trip1 payment address. Double-check the address matches exactly.
Step 3 - Choose the matching network
Select the same network shown in the trip1 checkout window. This is the most important step, because the address and network must match for the payment to arrive.
Step 4 - Send the exact amount
Enter the exact amount shown at checkout and confirm the withdrawal. Keep in mind the exchange may charge its own withdrawal fee on top, so make sure the amount that arrives matches what trip1 requested.
Important: Always send on the same network shown at trip1 checkout. Crypto sent on the wrong network cannot be reversed, and trip1 cannot recover those funds.
