Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) is about 18 km south of the centre. The IZBAN suburban rail runs directly to Alsancak and Basmane stations in around 30 minutes for a low fare. Havas shuttle buses connect the airport to central stops, and taxis take 25-40 minutes depending on traffic.
