NBA Christmas Day: Lakers vs 76ers
LeBron James’ first game back in Los Angeles, against the Lakers and Luka Dončić.
About NBA Christmas Day: Lakers vs 76ers
The 5 p.m. ET Christmas Day game is LeBron James’ first return to Crypto.com Arena as a visitor. He left the Lakers for Philadelphia in the summer; Luka Dončić and the Lakers host him on ESPN and ABC.
Crypto.com Arena is downtown, at Figueroa and 11th Street, next to LA Live. The A and E Metro lines stop at Pico, a short walk south of the doors. A hotel in the Financial District or South Park is walking distance; a base in Santa Monica or Hollywood is a 30 to 40 minute ride on Christmas afternoon.
Downtown Los Angeles on 25 December is quieter than a weekday, but the arena still draws a national-television crowd. Book inside the downtown grid if the game is the reason for the trip. The 2028 Olympic venues are a different geography: Exposition Park and Inglewood sit miles from here.
