NBA Christmas Day: Knicks vs Spurs
A Finals rematch at noon: Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs at the Garden.
About NBA Christmas Day: Knicks vs Spurs
Christmas Day opens at Madison Square Garden at 12 p.m. ET: the Spurs, with Victor Wembanyama, play the defending champion Knicks in a rematch of the 2026 NBA Finals. It is the first of five nationally televised games that day, on ESPN and ABC.
A noon tip-off on 25 December is a morning arrival. Penn Station is under the Garden, so a Midtown South hotel lets you walk over after breakfast. Seventh Avenue is quieter than a weekday but the arena still fills early for a holiday national game.
Christmas week is one of the most expensive hotel stretches in New York. Rooms between 28th and 42nd Streets keep the walk under 20 minutes; a base in Brooklyn or Queens adds a holiday subway schedule on the way in.
