2Santa Monica - Best for Beach Base with Metro Connection

Total journey time is around 60-70 minutes by Metro. Rates run $300-550/night on match weekends for mid-range coastal properties.

3Inglewood (Hollywood Park) - Best for Stadium Proximity
Inglewood - specifically the Hollywood Park development surrounding SoFi Stadium - is the most practical choice for fans whose primary goal is stadium access with minimum transport stress. New hotels in the Hollywood Park precinct sit within a 5-10 minute walk of the stadium gates. The K Line (Crenshaw/LAX Line) connects Inglewood to the wider LA Metro network toward Hollywood and Downtown.
Rates in Inglewood/Hollywood Park on match weekends run $220-400/night for mid-range properties - lower than comparable Hollywood or Santa Monica hotels. The tradeoff is a more suburban setting with fewer restaurant and nightlife options than central LA neighbourhoods. LAX International Airport (Los Angeles International Airport) is only 8 km away - extremely convenient for late arrivals and early departures.

From Hollywood or Westside hotels, a rideshare takes 25-45 minutes depending on traffic ($30-60).
Hollywood and West Hollywood offer the best combination of atmosphere, dining, nightlife, and reasonable metro access to SoFi Stadium. Santa Monica suits visitors who want beach access and a relaxed base. Downtown LA is the most transit-connected and closest to SoFi via Metro. Westwood/UCLA area is a quieter mid-range option. All areas require planning for LA traffic - leave significantly more time than maps suggest on match days.
