How to pay for a hotel from OKX on trip1?

Pay for a trip1 hotel from OKX by withdrawing the exact amount on the matching network, or by connecting OKX Wallet through WalletConnect at checkout.

Updated September 30, 2026

In short

  • You can pay for a hotel on trip1 from your OKX exchange account by making an on-chain withdrawal of the exact invoice amount to the CoinGate address, on the same network.
  • OKX charges a withdrawal fee, so make sure the amount that arrives matches the invoice, not just the amount you type.
  • If you use OKX Wallet, the self-custody app, you can connect it through WalletConnect and approve the payment instead.

Paying for your trip1 booking from OKX

trip1 lets you book from over 3 million hotels in 190+ countries and pay with 50+ cryptocurrencies through CoinGate (trip1's crypto payment provider). OKX is a crypto exchange, so paying from it means sending a withdrawal - learn more in paying from crypto held on an exchange.

How to pay from OKX - step by step

1Step 1: Choose Pay with crypto on trip1

Pick your hotel, room and dates and select Pay with crypto. In the CoinGate window, choose your coin and network, then pick the manual option to see the address and exact amount.

2Step 2: Start an on-chain withdrawal in OKX

In the OKX app, go to Assets, tap Withdraw, choose the coin and select on-chain withdrawal. Paste the address from the CoinGate window.

3Step 3: Select the matching network

Pick the same network the CoinGate invoice shows, such as Base or Arbitrum for USDC. For XRP, enter the destination tag, and for SOL, the memo, in the Tag or Memo field.

4Step 4: Enter the amount and check the fee

OKX shows the withdrawal fee and the amount the recipient gets. Adjust the amount so what arrives equals the invoice exactly - otherwise CoinGate treats it as an underpayment.

5Step 5: Complete the security checks

Confirm with your verification codes. OKX may ask who you're sending to, as explained in why exchanges ask who you're sending crypto to. If you use OKX's allowlist, add the address first - and if the 24-hour new-address lock is on, pay from OKX Wallet instead.

6Step 6: Wait for your booking confirmation

Exchange withdrawals can take a little longer while OKX processes them. Once the payment confirms on-chain, trip1 confirms your booking and emails you, and CoinGate may ask for a one-time Transfer of Funds Regulation (TFR) form.

Paying with OKX Wallet instead

OKX Wallet is a separate self-custody wallet that supports WalletConnect. Choose WalletConnect in the CoinGate window, approve in OKX Wallet, and keep enough native coin (such as ETH or BNB) for gas on top of the invoice amount.

Important

Important: Always withdraw on the exact network shown in the CoinGate window. Crypto sent on the wrong network cannot be reversed, and trip1 cannot recover those funds.
