How do I check my payment on a blockchain explorer?

Copy your transaction hash from your wallet, paste it into the explorer for your network, and check the status, recipient address, and amount of your trip1 payment.

How to check your payment - step by step

Step 1: Find your transaction hash

Open your wallet or exchange history and find the payment you sent to trip1. Copy the transaction hash, also called the TXID or transaction ID.

Step 2: Open the right explorer

Each network has its own explorer. Common ones are mempool.space for Bitcoin, Etherscan for Ethereum, Basescan for Base, Arbiscan for Arbitrum, Polygonscan for Polygon, BscScan for BNB Smart Chain, Solscan for Solana, Tronscan for TRON, and XRPScan for XRP.

Step 3: Paste the TXID

Paste the hash into the explorer's search bar and open the result.

Step 4: Check the details

  • Status: pending, confirmed, or failed
  • Recipient: matches the address on your CoinGate (trip1's crypto payment provider) invoice
  • Amount: matches the invoice amount exactly
  • Network: matches the network shown in the payment window

What the result means

If the status is pending, the network hasn't confirmed it yet, so give it more time. If it's confirmed and everything matches, your booking should follow shortly. If the address or network doesn't match, see our guides on wrong network and wrong amount payments.

Lightning Network (Bitcoin's fast payment layer) payments don't appear on regular explorers. Check your Lightning wallet's payment history instead.
