The Picasso Museum Malaga (Museo Picasso Malaga) holds 285 works by Pablo Ruiz Picasso, covering every period from his early studies to late-career ceramics. It occupies the Buenavista Palace, a 16th-century Renaissance mansion in the historic centre, and the building itself - with Roman and Phoenician archaeological remains visible in its basement - is half the attraction.
