About The Obscure: Devil's Quarter Halloween Cocktail Experience
The Obscure is a hidden distillery and cocktail bar in the Los Angeles Arts District, where a two-hour guided tasting unfolds among candlelit ruins and waterfalls. Each season's menu pairs three in-house spirits with three original cocktails, each tied to a story of legend and lore, with tax and tip included. More than 80,000 guests have been through, and it holds a 4.9 rating from over 3,000 Fever reviews.
For Halloween, The Obscure presents Devil's Quarter on Fridays and Saturdays only, a darker take on the experience. Seasons 1, 2 and 3 run alongside it and can be enjoyed in order or as standalone tastings. Sessions start at 6:30pm and 8:30pm at 1356 Palmetto Street. Entry is 21+ with valid ID, all-black attire is welcome and zero-proof cocktails are available on request.
Hotels in the Arts District, Little Tokyo and Downtown LA are a short ride from Palmetto Street, so you can finish the evening without driving. The on-site café, The Rising Sun, serves Southern-inspired food if you want dinner first.
