About Routes World 2026
Routes World is where airlines, airports and tourism authorities sit down to negotiate new air services, and the 2026 edition runs 21-23 October at Messe Frankfurt. It was relocated from Riyadh, which makes Frankfurt the host on relatively short notice.
The format is almost entirely meetings: back-to-back 20-minute appointments in which airport teams pitch route cases to airline network planners. Around it sits a conference programme on capacity, sustainable aviation fuel and demand forecasting, plus the airport marketing awards.
Messe Frankfurt is beside the Festhalle in the west of the city, with its own S-Bahn station and a ten-minute ride from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. Staying around the Hauptbahnhof, Westend or Bahnhofsviertel keeps you close; Frankfurt Airport is 15 minutes by train, which matters for a delegation that flies in and out fast.
