About Plan ₿ Forum Lugano 2026
Lugano's Plan ₿ Forum runs 23-24 October 2026 at the Palazzo dei Congressi, a short walk from the lakefront. It is the public face of Plan ₿, the joint initiative between the City of Lugano and Tether that has made bitcoin and stablecoins usable for everyday payments across hundreds of local businesses.
The two days mix keynotes and panels on nation-state adoption, Bitcoin economics, decentralisation and free speech with hands-on masterclasses, a startup and sponsor exhibition floor, and a Bitcoin art gallery. Talks run in English with live Italian translation on the main stage, and side venues around Villa Ciani and Ex-Asilo Ciani host workshops and networking.
Lugano is compact and walkable: staying in the centre or along the lake puts the venue within ten minutes on foot. Direct trains reach Milan in about an hour and Zurich in two, and Milan Malpensa is the most practical airport for long-haul arrivals.
