About Bitcoin Amsterdam 2026
Bitcoin Amsterdam is the European edition of the Bitcoin Conference series, and the 2026 event runs 5-6 November at the SugarFactory in Halfweg, just west of the city. Doors open at 08:00 both days and run through to 18:00, with a main stage seating thousands and an expo floor of European Bitcoin companies.
The programme leans European: energy and mining, privacy and digital rights, EU regulation, and corporate treasury strategy, alongside the production values the Bitcoin Conference series is known for. Everything on site is Bitcoin-enabled as well as fiat, so a Lightning wallet with a small balance is worth setting up before you arrive.
Halfweg sits between Amsterdam and Haarlem, roughly 15 minutes by train from Amsterdam Centraal to Halfweg-Zwanenburg. Staying central in Amsterdam is the easy call for evening side events; Haarlem is a quieter, often cheaper alternative and just as close to the venue.

The SugarFactory at Kristalpromenade 7 in Halfweg, between Amsterdam and Haarlem. Halfweg-Zwanenburg station is about 15 minutes by train from Amsterdam Centraal.
