About Halloween at Kew 2026
Halloween at Kew returns for its third year, turning the Royal Botanic Gardens into an illuminated after-dark trail. Along the way you meet legendary creatures, including Dracula lurking in the shadows and the Headless Horseman riding once more, watch fire performers and explore a brand-new cursed tomb. The trail takes about an hour to an hour and a half and all ages are welcome.
It runs from Friday 16 October to Sunday 1 November 2026. From 16 to 24 October the trail opens from 6pm; from 25 October to 1 November it opens from 4pm. Your ticket shows your entry gate: Victoria, Elizabeth or Brentford (Brentford only with a parking ticket). Kew Gardens station on the District line and Overground is a short walk from Victoria Gate. Freaky fries, hot chocolate, toasted marshmallows and hot toddies are sold along the way.
Hotels near Kew Gardens and in Richmond put you minutes from the gates, with the riverside and Richmond Park to explore by day. Central London is about 30 minutes away on the District line.
