The NBA Manchester Game 2027 is a regular-season meeting between the San Antonio Spurs and the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday 17 January at Co-op Live. It is the league’s first regular-season game in the city, three days after the same two teams play in Paris.
Co-op Live sits on the Etihad Campus in east Manchester, next to the Etihad Stadium, about two miles from the city centre. The Etihad Campus Metrolink stop is a short walk from the doors. A hotel in the Northern Quarter or Spinningfields is about 15 minutes on the tram; a room by the campus cuts the Sunday-night walk.
Sunday night at a 23,500-capacity arena on the Etihad Campus fills the tram and the roads around Sportcity. A city-centre base still works if you ride the Metrolink out and back; staying on campus only makes sense if the game is the whole reason for the trip.
