What should I do if my trip1 booking shows pending after payment?

Wait 30 minutes for on-chain confirmations or 5 minutes for Lightning/Layer 2. If still pending, contact trip1 support with your transaction hash.

Updated July 12, 2026

In short

  • Wait 30 minutes for on-chain Bitcoin or Ethereum, or 5 minutes for Lightning and Layer 2 networks.
  • Check the transaction hash on a blockchain explorer to confirm the payment reached the network.
  • If it's still pending after that, contact trip1 support with your booking reference and transaction hash.

We know it's frustrating to see "pending" after you've already paid. In most cases it's a normal blockchain delay and finalises within 30 minutes.

What to do step by step

1Step 1: Verify the payment left your wallet

Open your wallet or exchange history and confirm the send completed. Copy the transaction hash for reference.

2Step 2: Check the blockchain explorer

Paste the transaction hash into a public explorer (mempool.space for BTC, Etherscan for ETH, Solscan for SOL). Look for the number of confirmations.

3Step 3: Wait the appropriate time

  • Lightning or Layer 2 (Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, Solana): 5 minutes maximum.
  • On-chain Bitcoin or Ethereum: up to 30-60 minutes when the network is busy.

4Step 4: Contact trip1 support if still pending

Message trip1 support with your booking reference and the transaction hash. We can look up the status on CoinGate's side and reconcile if needed.

Don't book a second time

It's tempting to start a new booking while the first one is pending - don't. If the first payment eventually confirms, you'd be charged for two rooms. Wait until the first one either finalises or is officially cancelled.
