Since October 2017, all owners of quadrocopters and other unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) are required to register their devices with the National Television and Radio Commission of Thailand (NBTC). In case of violation of the order, Thai law provides for a penalty of up to five years in prison and / or a fine of up to 100 thousand baht (about 3 thousand US dollars). Mandatory gala dinner fees may apply at Thailand hotels. Guests should contact the hotel directly for more information. Under the new immigration procedures, effective May 1, 2025, all foreign nationals entering Thailand by air, land or sea must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online form on the official website of the Bureau of Immigration of Thailand three days prior to arrival. Front desk is open 24/7. Extra bed is available at an additional charge. Children 6-11 years old will be charged THB 383 for breakfast when using existing bedding. For Christmas and New Year's Eve dinners, guests may be charged separately at the hotel. Enhancement works are ongoing at Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort. Works are currently being carried out in two of the resort’s eight accommodation buildings, with completion rescheduled for 01.10.2026. Enhancement works at the Sea Breeze Event Area are expected to be completed during October 2026. All other resort facilities continue to operate as usual, including CocoVida Pool & Bar, Breeze Pool & Bar, Kidz R Kids Club, Devarana Spa & Fitness, Mangosteen’s Restaurant, Limoncello Restaurant and Toh Kin Khaw Chef’s Table.
