Hotels in Taiwan

Taiwan packs mountains, coastline and some of Asia's best street food into an island roughly the size of the Netherlands. Taipei anchors the north with night markets, hot springs and the Taipei 101 skyline, while the centre rises into the marble gorges of Taroko and the tea terraces of Alishan. Trains and high-speed rail make the whole island easy to cover in a week, and the food scene — beef noodle soup, bubble tea, xiaolongbao — is reason enough to visit on its own.
