Capri is a rocky, glamorous island rising sharply out of the Bay of Naples in southern Italy. Long a favourite of Roman emperors, writers and jet-setters, it combines dramatic limestone cliffs, turquoise sea caves and chic piazzas into one of the Mediterranean's most distinctive destinations.
