About Tourism Innovation Summit 2026
The Tourism Innovation Summit, TIS, is Europe's main travel technology and innovation event, running 6-8 October 2026 at the FIBES conference and exhibition centre in Seville. The seventh edition carries the theme "Time to Reimagine", with Argentina as guest country.
TIS pairs an exhibition floor of technology vendors and destinations with a multi-track congress covering AI in tourism, destination management, hospitality technology, mobility and sustainability, plus a startup competition and pre-arranged buyer meetings. The audience is a mix of destination marketing organisations, hotel groups and public tourism bodies, weighted towards Spain and Latin America.
FIBES sits east of the river in the Sevilla Este district, about 15 minutes by taxi from the historic centre and served by city buses. Staying in Santa Cruz, Alfalfa or Triana keeps you in the old town in the evenings; hotels immediately around FIBES are more functional but save you the commute.
